In the interest of slow fashion, our Ankara Shirt Dresses are one of a kind beauties. They are up-cycled from men’s business shirts with added traditional Ankara fabric for the dress. The pockets are made from the cuffs of the business shirt. 

We appreciate and acknowledge beautiful traditional fabrics. Our Ankara fabrics are inspired by central and western Africa, the patterns are derived from an Indonesian technique known as Batik and designed in the Netherlands. Such ‘a multicultural melting pot of beauty and industrial craftsmanship‘ VLISCO .
